Motorola V551 cell phone...?

Question

There are 2 buttons on the side of the phone. Even when the phone is flipped closed, these buttons will still change the display...ie; from time to ringer status, and the second button will change the ringer status. This keeps happening to me, even when in a case, when the phone bumps against something.
Is there any way to lock these buttons so they are inactive when the phone is closed?

There is no way to change it. I been selling phones for 3 years now. A lot of customers have complained that same problem, there is no cure. Thanks
