Hitler has had the worst impact, especially with the doctrine preached by the National Socialist German Workers Party during the 1930's and the 1940's. The Policy that he followed led to the death of at least 6 million people in the concentration camps as they were Jewish, Gay or cripiled - in other words they wernt part of the Arian Race!! Its unfortunate, as I would say Hitler had more of an influence on the world as it led to a world war and an indoctrination of a nation. Mother Theresa on the other hand - showed the world true love and piety towards the people that were seen as the worst of mankind - the type Hitler would have exterminated. Mother Theresa and her order loved the people in her care, and was seen by the world as a true example of the love of Christ in action.
Its a good question to ask, and its right that you should ask it. However as a lad living after Hitler and Mother Theresa - I think the legacy left behind by Mother Theresa is better than Hitlers. Hitlers ideas dont need consideration at all. They are vile and ugly and degrade the goodness of the human person.

Hitler. Affected events ever since 1939. The formation of Israel, Middle east in flames, oil prices, the Cold War. Mother Teresa? She's done some good, so they say. She won a Noble Peace Prize. She accepted donations from bloodthirsty Central American dictators. But she hasn't influenced the world as much as Hitler. No way.

Hitler-- everything he did to Germany, the Jewish community, and the entire world had an immense influence on the world in the last century. Although Mother Teresa was a wonderful woman and I think she should become a saint, her influence on the world as a whole wasn't nearly as significant as that of Hitler. She worked wonders in her small community while Hitler's legacy, if one so wishes to call it that, continues to live on and effects every nation and every group of people.

Hitler by far. Influence can be defined as "To produce an effect on by imperceptible or intangible means", which does not imply a positive or negative. So that said, it becomes a question of scale. Hitler's massive negative presence would cause reactive influence in the "never again" vein a lot more than Mother Theresa's benevolence would have encouraged like behaviour.

Hitler by along way.
Mother Teresa only affected the lives of relatively few people.
Hitler's activities affected the lives of millions of people and we are still living with the consequences -for example the support that Israel gets from the USA.

Yeah< hitler, methinks.
He caused the creation of numerous international agencies (UN), untold bajillions of deaths, and led to the invention of the atomic bomb.
Eventually, Hitler's influence will get us ALL killed.
Mother Theresa? Hope to thousands, inspiration to millions, and then BAM! Hitler gets'em all killed.
