there was a summary in a newsweek article that is really good:
-xbox 360's are great for dorms
-ps3's are great for movie enthusiasts with a large bank account
-wii is great for both kids and grandparents alike for the movement effects
personally, im going off to college, so ive got a 360. its less expensive, great graphics, and you can play your entire existing dvd collection on it. and if you REALLY want to play the new format of dvd's, u can always buy a new attachment that will be coming out around the time that the ps3 does.

Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 have entered into a contest about who can have the most bells and whistles and shiny flashing lights.
Wii has been designed to be the most fun and have the broadest appeal.
If you define "best" as "having the flashiest set of CPUs", then PS3 would be your winner. If you add "not taking the mick on price", PS3 is well out of the running. It doesn't help Sony that they added a last-minute tilt sensor to the PS3 controller in order to deflect some of the praise Wii was getting, which instead looked like a desperate last-minute attempt to get some reflected glory and meet an imaginary fanboy feature checklist.
So, then there's the Halo Box 360, sorry, the Xbox 360. I'd consider buying a console only if there was more than one game worth having for it. Next.
Wii already has me excited about owning one. I've been playing since you got four colours if you were lucky, so the choice between "amazing amounts of fun and good graphics" and "good amounts of fun and amazing graphics" really seems a no-brainer to me.

Whats Better well i was at E3 2006 from what i saw and played The Nintendo Wii and The XboX 360 are the better consoles to get...Cant say that about the PlayStation 3..it was really disappointing..

I haven't tried the PS3 yet... and Nintendo is ok.... xbox 360 stinks! I hate it so much. And it has bad games. I know this isn't on ur list, but I like PS2 better than anything. Sorry!

360 for sure. It will have better games then the others (even thought the launch games sucked) and 360 and PS3 are built exactly the same, the only differnce is that PS3 has a bigger hardrive, but it cost $200 more

ok chum the Wii is like for ******* 3 twelve months olds (till u are),now heres the demanding area ok I particularly have a 360, im getting a ps3 in 3 months they are virtually basically as solid as one yet another yet u be responsive to the ps3 has extra perfect video games then the 360 yet while u r in like finished love with gears of conflict get the 360 yet u be responsive to the 360 has extra perfect on line however the ps3 on line is unfastened so u be responsive to the respond is idk with the aid of fact the 360 vs. ps3 is basically to demanding yet choose for the PS3 THE PS3 is particularly THE WINNER.

ps3!!!!! the ps3 is gonna have blue ray, free online. I no its gonna be $600 but wait maybe a year at the most for the price to come down and buy it then. ps3 is gonna be better than all the rest.

simple xbox 360...why cuz it has xbox live and i think microsoft is a better company.....playstation is going to have better graphics but thats it........
