No way.......we are all handicapped in one way or another...no one is perfect....some people are just too selfish to recognize and admit their own shortcomings....and those that make fun of people with more visible disabilities have the biggest handicap of all.....it's called insecurity and lack of faith.

I do not make fun of handicapped children or adults. I do not like to see other people laugh at them either. Why other people do, they are just ignorant people that just do not understand and they want to feel superior to those others. Being handicapped is not funny at all. It is a very serious situation and should not be taken lightly. Some people are born that way, others become that way from having a stroke. All people should do is show some respect, love, and compassion towards them. It would not be funny to me to be handicapped, I would feel devastated and it would change me as an individual and what I can do physically.

Because they were not raised right. I think it is horrible to make fun of handicapped people. It really hits home when you have your own children and worry for 9 months that something could be wrong with them when they are born. It changes most people, but some people are always going to be a- holes.

I have a 'hidden' disability(schizoaffective disorder) as well as minimal brain damage from a difficult childbirth...and yes, I've had adults as well as kids make fun of me. It's hard to ignore, in all honesty I'd love to know what those adults and kids would do if God forbid, they become disabled or someone in their family becomes disabled..I think some people who tease, insult, or make fun of someone with challenges have never really KNOWN someone with a handicap. Anyway, it's ignorant.

i love to act retarded but on a serious note, this is a bad thing and it is engraved into us all by the movies we watch that portray people with handicaps to naturally be funny and people enjoy this, some people take it too far by making fun of real people with handicaps and i don't agree with that at all, i feel bad and hope that i don't make fun of them, but i think that's why people do it??

omg...i hate it when people make fun of handicapped people...it's just sooooooooooo mean. i think they do it because they look different and it makes the person feel better about themselves. I feel really sorry for those kids and adults who are handicapped because it's not like it's their fault that they're that way.

confident, i might, if i in my opinion had a concern for this female and the youngster's handicap became something i'd desire to stay with. every person hs their obstacles, their limits, some human beings can tolerate particular handicaps extra perfect than otehrs. it particularly relies upon on the region and the folk. A innovative and prescient handicap isn't a situation for me.
