Precum is actually pre-ejaculation fluid. It ALWAYS come before orgasm (ejaculation) and its purpose is to prepare the urethra for semen. It neutralizes any traces of urine, so that the sperm are comfortable on their way to the vagina, or wherever they are destined for. Another purpose is to lubricate the movement of the foreskin. It is similar to *** in that it DOES also contain sperm.

well the pre stuff has no or low sperm count - it's primary function is to clean out the urethra and neutralize and urine that might be there. Consequently, it can taste bitter. Since there is not a lot of it, most women don't mind the flavor. They balk at the real thing, which when it arrives, can be overwhelming. As far as taste goes, it ain't bad - or so I have been told.
PS - i hope you are over 18

I am not completely sure, but pre happens to clean the "tubes" before the aftermath. There really isn't much difference in taste. The actual taste is dependent on the what the person eats and if they are a smoker.
Not that I would know anything about that, of course! lol

The taste of that particuar substance is highly individual and depends on the male's personal chemistry and diet.
