Sade W, I'm sorry but I totally disagree with you. True, Black people weren't allowed to sit in the front of a bus 50 yrs ago, but have personally experienced it? If you are over the age of 45, then you experienced it as a young child. If you are a young lass, then no one has forced you to the back of the bus because of your race. That is, if you've ever ridden one, I don't know.
When I see reverse racism going on, I cringe. (Actually it's all racism, but I'll use the term "reverse racism" in this thread.) NO White person alive in this country has ever kept a slave, its impossible. It's possible that some Whites have oppressed minorities, but there are many who think progressively and humanely, so it's no excuse for Black people (or any minority) to hate Whites because their ancestors were slave owners. At some point or another, EVERYONE'S "peeps" were slave owners and slaves themselves.
I'm of Mexican descent, and the native Mexican civilizations were literally raped of their wealth, their women, their way of life, their everything. I would be so embarrassed, mortified and really upset, to see my "cousins" out there hating White people and treating them badly for something they are not guilty of that happened in the past.
There is NO excuse for racism of any kind.

Black pp have been discriminated against for HUNDREDS of years. Even though their ancestors were slaves, they still suffer the backlash of slavery. Just because slavery ended doesn't mean the hate and discrimination ended along with it. Black people didn't really get their "freedom" until the mid 1900's. The wounds are still fresh, like it or not. You really cant expect them to just forgive and forget when just 50yrs ago they weren't even allowed to sit in the front of a bus!
As a result many blacks resent white pp. And can you really blame them? No. Does that justify reverse racism? No. Nothing justifies racism period. In fact many black people are not guilty of it. And not all white pp are guilty of racism. But if a white person does experience reversed racism, just remember its human nature for anyone to dislike whatever or whoever has beat, killed and oppressed them for a long period of time. So please don't be to surprised.

Reversed racism happens all the time but is ignored by the media. It is a shame when a black person gets beaten up by white kids and it is a hate crime and fat a-s-s hypocrtical al sharpton are rushing to the scene to cry racism but when a black person beats up a white person then soceity troubled them
Its like all the stuff with BET. I remember on here one person said "OMGG!!! BET IS HERE TO GET OUR RACE bACK ON TRACK!!!"
Don't give me that, you grew up in the 21st centure of the Untied States of america, your ancestors were slaves not you.

Totally. I feel the effects of reverse racism more in how I have to behave towards people of other races though. Like, it doesn't matter to me what someone is, but when I'm talking to them I feel like I have to be VERY careful not to offend THEM. Even just at the grocery check-out line, I feel like it is up to me to be the one who is "nicer" or something. But then I get concerned that my "niceness" is misconstrued as a white girl who is being extra nice to the minority.... you see what I'm saying here?

There is definately reverse discrimination going on within many large cities. For example, some employers pass up qualified white job applicants, in favor of less qualified, or unqualified blacks, because of government programs like" affirmative action". Anyone who doesn't think that things like this doesn't happening is in denial.

No reverse racism. Only racism. Stay with your own kind.
Affirmative Action is institutionalized racism and anyone who takes advantage or tells their children to are racists just the same as if they were Klan .

Yes, my neighbour calls me Jew whore at least once a week, I've been refused a job (because I don't speak any Asian language) I've been spat at & called a 'fat white c**t,' and my little dog kicked because he's 'a filthy animal.' This was from a Muslim lad who was later arrested for fighting Pit Bulls.
I live in Smethwick (near Birmingham)
