I think it might be a good thing. after all we're going to need to come together sooner or later, or we'll destoy ourselves. I say what ever it takes to unite the whole planet.

North and South America are two different continents - Europe is one. If countries want to form alliances, that's fine with me, but I don't like the idea of a world/continental government. There are two many cultural differences for it to work, not to mention that any government that controls so much WILL become despotic.

Hell no, the cost of bringing the social services and infrastructure up to minimal levels alone would completely bankrupt the north
