Everything needs to be tidy, clean, immaculate, smell good etc! If I dont clean/tidy the house for example, I feel guilty and uncomfortable and I clean/vacum everyday!

it depends do you like to feel clean to the point that you spend an hour and a half washing your hands after you touch that youve decided is infected because your sure that theres germs that WILL kill you and the ones you love on it? a little of this is ok, but its a problem when it runs your life

When you cant touch something with out touching it with your other hand, any volume/tv channels/etc muct be on odd numbers, you turn around in circles so you face the same way, you do things in repititions, when you're tidying things so they face the exact same way & if someone were to change it you would go bizerk! All the above in public & private. You may have OCD, but try to avoid it, it's so aggrivating & there is no true help for us!

It only becomes a disorder when you allow it to interfere with what should be more important items.

Ex. If its more important that your kids stack their books neatly than complete their homework.

You can't fill out a written form cause you have to keep going back and correcting your own writing.

Neat, smellin' good, lookin' clean? You're normal. Now the other people out there (funky smellin', lookin' disheveled and just plain nasty) Those people are not normal!

well i think that it is just a case of good hygiene there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. there is nothing normal about looking like a slob that is not attractive a first impression is a lasting one. you only get one.

Not necessarily, however, if you think you have OCD, contact a doctor.
