I assume she has urinary tract infection which is not uncommon.
The medication is supposed to kill Bacteria that might be responsible for the infection.
If she is not doing better, then the organism might be resistant to the antibiotics (see second reference).
Then alternative antibiotics may be necessary (see her doctor).

This is an antibiotic that will help get the infection out it covers a pretty broad spectrum of bacterial infections it should help.

its an anti-infective . used for urinary tract infections. generally not for children under 12, or pregnant women as it is a class "c" risk. hope they told you to keep her hydrated as possible ( drinking lots and lots of water / cranberry juice. )
