Contouring.
What you do, is apply your every-day shade of blush right on your cheek bone. Start at the apple and go straight ahead until you reach your temple. Then, dab your brush into a slightly darker more towards the brown/neutral colored blush, and apply it right under the cheek bone. Also, a little shimmer right above the lining of your cheek bones adds a natural glow.

Bare minerals makes a product called Daylight(?) that has two colors in it one light, and one dark, use the two shades to create highlites and shadows.Put the dark in places like the sides of your nose, and the sides of your face (under your cheeks) and your temples, and use the light color on places that stick out. The middle of your nose, your brow bone, chin, cheek bones. baybe get a book on theatrical make up. They have sections on highliting and shadowing. use the same techniques as they describe, just toned down a bit

Contouring. You take a bronzer, (not too dark) and sweep under the cheekbone and down. Sweep along jawline under ears, as well. Just don't get too crazy with it!
I have round cheeks as well, and this works, makes for lovely pics too!

Try putting some blush on your cheek right above your JAW bone. I don't know if it will work for you, but it works for me! I have a roundish face. (I read that Pattie Boyd, a model in the 60's, used to do that.)

This is a really tough technique to master. It takes a lot of time and practice. I would suggest visiting a make-up artist in your area (it may cost about $50) they could give you great tips and demonstrate exactly how it is done.
