They are always trying to take away Christian rights and symbols.

The ACLU fights for freedom. Most people who criticize the ACLU don't know the first thing about freedom. They think it means driving an SUV or putting an american flag on their house or something.
Maybe you feel more free when the government is spying on you or restricting speech or punishing people for telling the truth or exposing corruption.
Maybe you feel more free when you can have your home searched without a warrant. Maybe you feel more free when schools are using your taxes to teach religions to your kid that you don't agree with.
Maybe you believe the idiots who say they can't fight terrorists without collecting everyone's personal phone call records. Maybe you feel free when your country holds people in secret without trials. Maybe you feel more free when people are torturned by your government.
If you agree with these things then by all means bash on the ACLU. They won't try to stop you, in fact they will go to the mat to make sure you can!
