why do people judge the bible...?

Maybe the question should be...why do followers of the bible judge others even though they are taught not to? People have to make a judgment call on the bible, otherwise they would be sitting on the fence of their beliefs.

The easy answer is people judge the Bible because the Bible is used by some as a reference to "judge" the actions and attitudes of others.
The better answer is that people should judge the Bible because they should critically examine any piece of literature they can get their hands on.

However, more people attempt to judge using the bible than those who judge the bible.

As quickly as he made that try to have the powers of judgment, he used to be doomed to die. Isn't it wonderful how completely that lesson has been overlooked via the fundamentalists? God places a bare, single guy and lady in combination, and the one factor he tells them to not do is to take a look at to gain knowledge of what's well and what's evil. To pay attention the fundamentalists inform it, it is precisely the opposite direction round - that judging well and evil is what we will have to do, and that being round bare folks of the opposite intercourse is what we won't do. I'd have preferred to have notion that they might have a minimum of learn the primary 2 brief chapters of the Bible, however it seems that that is past them.

I don't. I judge the people who are using the bible to judge me. I find them all hypocritical.

They're not they are just sick of being forced by the churches to follow things they don't want to follow if they have a separate belief. With that said many beliefs follow what they belief and do not force beliefs. For example gays don't push you to wear leather pants, Jews don't force you to convert, and people who don't believe in god don't force others to belief in god. But in the same instance christians force boycotts of places that don't say merry christmas while there are others holidays, make gays not able to marry each other saying that it's and against the bible, and christians go on missionary trips to convert more christians.

So many people believe in different things, that it always boils down to the bible and what it says and why does it say it, and who wrote it, and how do you know it is true....faith is about believing in something and having that comfort that you believe....if you always challenge it in the end..you are just gonna have a bunch of answered questions
