About 3 months ago I ago i had my front garden replaced with large paving stones, and on one or two of the are large chalky white marks have appeared on some of the stones Wanting to know what they are? and how can I remove? them hopefully never to return !!!

It's most likely calcium leaching out of them. You'll notice the same thing pretty much happens to brick on some homes. Some water and a stiff brush should do the trick, but you may find that it will reappear a few more times.

May be many things. Do you have an irrigation system that is hitting just these stones? Could be calcium building up. If the stones were very recently poured or manufactured could it be limestone coming from the mixture?

It could be calcium deposits leeching out, or it could be bird crap. Just use water and a stiff brush. it should come off fairly easily.

That's mold. Go to your hardware store and ask them.
