A good Summer job for a13 year old without a car would be to go knocking on your neighbors' doors and see if they need any odd jobs to be done.
There are many home owners who need help with chores, grass cutting, house painting, yard clearing, car washing and so on.

How about getting a job with the parks and recreation dept in your city? I believe 99% of jobs out there require that you be at least 16 years old to apply.

If you are 13, it does not really matter wether you have a car or not, because you cannot drive. Moreover, if he is your ex, what do you care? It is not your biz anymore, right?

well if you live near a park or camp you could work there. there are plenty of jobs involving kids that someone your age can do.
