Well, since Senegal and Cameroon didn't make the World Cup this time, you might want to go with the only country that's been there before, Tunisia. They're in a moderately tough group, with Spain, Ukraine, and Saudi Arabia.
Angola also got a decent draw with Iran, Mexico, and Portugal, as did Togo, with France, Switzerland, and South Korea. Cote d'Ivoire and Ghana got drawn into Groups of Death (Cote d'Ivoire with Serbia, Argentina, and Netherlands, while Ghana is in with Italy, Czech Republic, and the United States).
Nice of the two above me to know who actually made it to Germany...

Actually the Ivory Coast is supposed to be the best team out of Africa...but that means very, very little since they are in Group C...the group of death...actually The Ivory Coast is one of the reasons the group has been called such. Just as a note the group includes Netherlands, Argentina, Ivory Coast and, Serbia and Montenegro
I think this is true and the artile below supports my theory.

Ghana, which is in United states pool is the best african team, but probably doesnt have the best chance to win due to the teams in this pool.

Ivory Coast...easy! They have a great squad. They were runners up in this years African Cup of Nations. IVC will make it out of their group.
Look for them to beat Argentina on Saturday...ala Senegal beating France last WC.

The Ghanians are the best in the World Cup. Tunisia is not as good they are...one more thing do not sleep on them because they got drawn in the most complicated group...they are there because they can also win...keep that in mind.

Cameroon is good team, but they failed to classify losing to cote d'ivoire in qualifyings.
I think Ghana have better chances, since they play first against italy, and "la squadra azzurra" always play bad their first game. If they make a tie, they can decide their chances against Tchec Rep.

I think the best African team is Ghana, but they have been put in the "group of death." But my best bet would be Angola. That group is pretty even. It has Angola, Spain, Iran, and Mexico.
