The best part about buying make-up from a dept store counter is that they have a 100% guarantee on their products. So buy one some one suggests and use it for a couple days, if you dont' like it take it back and try another one at the same counter or a different counter. I know that the Lancome has a foundation sampling program. Talk to an advisor there, they'll hook you up and you don't have to spend any $$

I highly recommend using Clarins. You can purchase it at Macys, Sephora, Nordstrom, and a number of other department stores. One of the benefits is that Clarins is good for your skin. I noticed somebody mentioned MAC and while I do use them for eye shadows, blushers, I've broken out alot while using MAC Studio Fix and their other foundations. MAC is primarily used for studio work, actors, etc. And yes, it's a great make-up line, but for specific foundation, try Clarins. If you have oily/combination or acne prone skin, try Clarins Multi-Matte Foundation. It provides good coverage and feels as light as air. To set your foundation, try Clarins Powder Compact. It doesn't even feel like you're wearing make-up and it smells good. Enjoy!

I have difficult skin and I swear by Brenda Christian Liquid Foundation or Smashbox Liquid Foundation, but always remember to use a foundation primer prior to using your foundation as using moisturiser on its own can cause your make up to slide or your skin to sweat.

I like Nars Oil-Free liquid foundation. It stays put all day but isn't super heavy. You can use it all over your face, or just in certain spots where you need coverage. It's a bit pricey - but the bottle lasts a long time. I think its worth it.
Hope this helps!

recently i've found myself using the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse in the poreclain ivory shade...it's pretty good...have yet to try the Dream Matte Mousse blush...the foundation is good if u don't have any dry places on ur face, otherwise it's sorta terrible cuz it doesn't at all blend in...but i've got some acne scars and it helps a little to cover them up...so i like it. it's too expensive tho..it's like $7.00 at Target, but $5.96 at Walmart which is odd..cuz i've bought it at Target twice and spent the 7.00, but just bought some at Walmart and loved their price...so i think i'll get it from there from now on..just a suggestion if u decide u'll buy it.

Clinique Super Fit make up works well.
It's a formula that bends with your face when you move. Also lasts a long time. Expensive, but one bottle lasts me about 6 months.
