As the others have said, just open up each picture and Save As - Scroll to Jpeg. One other point, when you are sure that you have the picture secure in Jpeg, you can go to your pictures file and delete the bmp one...........saves you loads of memory.......

I open the picture in IE, then choose File, Save As, then it will have a drop down menu at the bottom where it says "Save As File Type".
Works well & makes bmp's way smaller! (in size).
You can also open bmp's in MSPaint & do the same thing.
File, Save As, Save As File Type.

You'll need a picture editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Kodak's Easyshare, or Easy DVDs Photo Suite. You can download Kodak's Easyshare or Adobe Photoshop from their websites. Once you've installed the software, open the picture file. Do some editing if you prefer, then save the picture. When you save the picture, use "save as" type of file (here you can change the file type). Alternatively, you can double clicks on the picture to view (Windows fax and picture viewer) and click on the floppy diskette icon to save. Again, click on the "save as type" to change the file type. You've just made another copy of the picture when you "save as".

least difficult way i understand to try this is to open your record in Paint application (assuming you're on living house windows). Open the record, then click save As, and contained in the record variety container, replace it to the single you choose to maintain it as. then you definitely have duplicated the image, in yet another format.
