It all depends on where you are. First check to see what county it is in and check the Superior Court website (court may be called something else). Then check if available the court calendar and minute entries. The minute entries will give you more detailed information.
If the person was sentenced to jail (less than 1 year) you can check at the county sheriff's office for more information. If the person was sent to department of corrections (prison) check the state d.o.c. website.

go to the circuit court acccess website of that state, it is free and you can look up anyone.
