That is because the NY Yankees IS THE BEST TEAM IN BASEBALL. Not to mention that baseball is AMERICAS FAVORITE PASTIME. It does not matter if you are talking about another sport, the Yankees hold the record for winning more World Series then any other team in Major League Baseball. New Yorkers are very passionate about the Mets and the Yankees as any city would be of their own sports teams. SO, NEXT TIME DON'T BE SO JUDGEMENTAL DUDE OK?

Forgive them. They are still wallowing in their historic past which quickly came to an end in 2004. This year will be a repeat performance as the Red Sox end up winning the division and the playoffs AND the World Series. And I AM a Red Sox fan!!
