I want to make this picture larger but it gets very blurry. Does anyone know a program that resizes pictures and keeps the quality good?

Think of it this way:
It all depends what kind of picture. There are vector pictures and there are raster picturs. Vector pictures wont make it blurry but it is not real like. It is many dots connected to getther to form some kind of image. Raster images resize ... therefore blurry.,

Okay... Think of it this way. When you create a image and you say that is 1 by 1 inch in size. And you specify the dpi to be 200dpi. Which means 200 dots per inch that means... You can say in this case 1 dot means 1 pixel. So it is 200 pixcels per inch. So if you small 1by1 inch photo has 200 pixels, so only 200 dots. And when you resize it. The dots will disperse.

When the dots disperse (separate) you will be left with space in between. Depending on the image encoding technique (jpg/gif/png) each algorithm treats the connection between those dots differently... So currently .png does the best algorithmic equation.

Thats why you see your image as fuzzy. and Blurry., the dots separte from the other dots... And the space between it gets smudged (blurred). If you decrease the size of the photo, then it will be crystal clear. But there is a limitation on how small your photo will be. Since a dot is a fixed size and cannot be smaller then it actually is.

Hi Lioness, I attempted to discover "objectified" and "objectification" within the dictionary and no pleasure. Well, I'm now not precisely definite I appreciate your queston, however consider I would have an notion. Anyway, have you ever ever heard of the "bell curve"? It's a curve that's formed like a bell and does a well activity of representing facts. As for cosmetic, at one finish of the curve we have now the least lovely and on the different finish probably the most. The identical might be precise for earnings ... poorest on one facet and richest at the different. In the center of the bell we have now the entire typical people. I consider what you are announcing is correct, however simply comfortably a truth of existence. We have the entire spectrum for each genders. As for why men do not protest ... I bet they observe that it is simply the way in which matters are and protests are not going to difference some thing. Hope this is helping!

The number of pixels determine clarity. The more pixels the clearer the picture. Enlarging a smaller picture does not increase the number of pixels, so it makes the image blurry.
