Pretty sure that tasers aren't used often for "not agreeing wth an officer on a speeding ticket". However, yes, I do fully agree that our police should be able to use whatever means necessary to subdue an unruly offender.
Don't want to get tased? Don't break the law!!

Yes, it could happen to me if I resisted what the officer asked me to do and if I took a swing at the officer. Instead of tazing the woman (who, by the way, was operating a vehicle with a suspended licesne) he could have used his baton, could have pulled her from the SUV, could have used pepper spray, or could have gotten into the SUV to handcuff her.
He made a good choice. Leave it to a pitiful liberal like you to have empathy with a woman who was pulled over for breaking the law, driving with a suspended license, and refusing to follow the orders of an officer instead of a well trained police officer who followed textbook procedure.
You are a disgrace.

I believe that electronic weapons gives police officers another tool to utilize before resorting to deadly force. It is not something that law abiding citizens have to worry about, but I personally would rather be shocked for a moment of unconsciousness than shot dead.

WRONG! THEY ARE USED INSTEAD OF GUNS. YOU PEOPLE B*TCH WHEN THEY SHOOT A CRIMINAL, AND NOW THEY HAVE FOUND A MEANS OF SUBDUING THESE CRIMINALS WITHOUT SHOOTING THEM AND YOU STILL B*TCH. THEY WILL USE FORCE IF THEY FEEL THEIR LIFE IS IN DANGER. THEY HAVE FAMILIES TOO, AND WE WANT THEM TO COME HOME SAFELY. THE MEDIA IS VERY BIAS WHEN IT COMES TO REPORTING THIS TYPE OF SITUATION. FOR EXAMPLE, I WAS ON DUTY WITH MY HUSBAND, AND WE GOT A CALL OF A MAN RUNNING THROUGH NEIGHBORHOODS NAKED, HOLDING A BUTCHER KNIFE,KNOCKING DOWN FENCES, KICKING CAR DOORS IN. WELL, HE WAS HEADED FOR A ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DURING LUNCH TIME AND THEY TASED HIM, FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE CHILDREN. THE MEDIA TWISTED THE STORY, AND SAID THAT HE WAS SIMPLY WALKING THROUGH THE STREETS, AND HEADED FOR HOME. I COULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT A LIE THEY TOLD. I WAS THERE, HE WAS A DANGER NOT ONLY TO HIMSELF, BUT TO ANYONE AROUND HIM, . IT WAS LATER FOUND OUT THAT HE WAS ON PCP, AND WAS HEADED HOME TO KILL HIS FAMILY. SO DON'T ALWAYS BELIEVE WHAT YOU HEAR UNLESS YOU WERE THERE!!!

no that is abuse, it should be reported to that specific Police Department. The only time an officer should use any force is if they feel their life is in danger

No, that should be completely illegal and actually I think it is. That can be a serious court case.
