It depends on who you ask and how detailed you get. Here's one list:

Snap shot
Slap shot
Wrist shot
Backhand shot
One-timer

There are 3 shots Slap Shot , Wrist Shot, and Wrist Shots. There are also back hand shots that you do off the backhand of the stick. Here is how you do the slappers wristers and snappers.

The Slap Shot
1. Skate to within a reasonable shooting distance from the goal.

2. Position your body sideways to the net and in a normal passing stance - skates parallel, knees bent, back bent forward, stick extended, blade edge flat on the ice (or roller rink) and puck cradled in the center of the blade.

3. Raise the stick up and straight back until your bottom hand is at shoulder level.

4. Keep your bottom arm straight.

5. Shift your weight to the back foot.

6. Raise your eyes, and mark the desired target (an open edge of the goal, not an opponent's helmet).

7. Bring the stick aggressively forward: Pull with your top hand, push with the bottom hand.

8. Transfer your weight to the front foot.

9. Strike the puck on its bottom edge.

10. Follow through with the stick.

11. Adjust the blade to control its height

The Snap Shot

Step 1. Get in the hockey position and put the puck
between your skates about three feet in front of the body.

Step 2. Raise your stick a few feet off the ice

Step 3. As your arms sweep forward exert force downward towards the puck

Step 4. Snap your wrists in the follow through by rolling them inward.

The Wrist Shot

1. Slide your lower hand down your stick so that it is about 15 inches below your top hand.

2. Hold the stick with a firm grip.

3. Place your blade just behind the puck.

4. Cup the stick blade over the puck.

5. Look at the goal, then the puck, and then back at the goal as you shoot.

6. Sweep the blade from behind the puck to project it toward the goal.

7. Snap your wrists back as the puck leaves the stick.

8. Follow through, but keep it low. Use a higher follow-through when shooting for upper corners of the goal.

Well the last person pretty much covered teh shots I know of but if you add goals you would also include the wrap-around. I don't think it is really considered a shot though.

There are only 2 kinds of hockey shots.
Those that go in the net, and those that don't.
Ask Jussi about the fist kind and Cam about the latter.

the shots are wirstshot, slapshot, snapshot, backhand shot, and a one timer... if your talking about the ways to score in general there's those shots plus a deflection, penalty shot, PPG and SHG
