In a way...I program my digital video recorder and when i am in the mood to vegetate...I can pick from what the box has been collecting...Wire in the Blood, Battlestar Galactica, Touching Evil, The Closer, Supernatural, Black and white movies from the 30's, 40's and 50's as well as movies on cable especially on the sci fi network. I enjoy creating my own programming rather than having to be at the mercy of the advertisers.
And I really miss the show Dead Like Me. Reggie and her sister Georgia were some of the freshest characters to come along in a long time. Grim reapers indeed. I am very sorry that show was cancelled. It was a singular show like Brimstone and Prey that both came on sci fi. tremendous potential...but passed over the pedestrian tried and true version of what passes for stale television.
And so it goes.

Very few shows hold my interest any longer. Law and Orders, CSI Vegas, Two and a Half Men, Veronica Mars, The Closer, and Rescue Me and King of the Hill are really the only ones I watch with any consistency.

I don't watch TV, I haven't for years; maybe just the odd thing like A Life of Grime or the end of Deal or no Deal to see how much they win.

Only Sky. Analog TV has gotten pathetic with it's obsession with celebs. There is nothing on which requires an IQ of over 10.

No, only for the comedy and even then it's usually something that's old and repeated on UK Gold (i.e. Only Fools and Horses).

Utter garbage now, nothing but cr*p reality shows with a bunch of Joe Bloggs dreaming of fame and fortune.

Nope.
I don't think anyone does any more. Modern programing doesn't seem to appeal to anyone, but someone must be watching, surely. I only use the telly for videos and games myself but I suppose people who like "reality shows" and American sit-coms are spoilt for choice.

I only turn it on for the noise. The kids seem to enjoy the cartoons tho.

I do, because you have a great deal to watch with numerous channels, so you can choose the channels that you are most interested in.
