I don't know why some of us are like that, I know sometimes I get mad, but we all do. I don't believe that women are not supposed to deal with guys getting mad, they should be able to voice their opinion, but truthfully, sometimes that doesn't solve anything, it makes it worse, and really it depends on the situation. Men are supposed to be the head of the family, the bible says that, but it also says that the husband is suppose to love his wife like he loves himself, and not to be harsh with them. So, sometimes when we lose our cool, we are just blowing off steam, and that is a time where we want to be left alone, but not all men are like that. I know it helps me when a woman tries to help and be encouraging, but we all are different.

No one died and made men in charge sweetie.
It has always been that way.
You can dislike it if you want, but your disaproval will not change it. It is better if you learn to play by the rules, it is the only way you can get what you really want.
These are the same rules that say that while men can get angry - they can't cry. That is your tool.

whats wrong with them? testosterone, i believe its truly evil. why do they think they can get away with that? because you let them. if you aren't willing (from day one) to be stifled or shut down or emotionally respressed then he'll learn that isn't going to work, if you do those things to yourself in the beginning to appear to be this sweet thing you think he wants then you are in a pickle and now have to try to change the game. when he gets mad and blows up treat it like a child having a temper tantrum...ignore it, walk away, pretend you can't even hear whats being said if it isn't presented in a reasonable tone of voice, he'll learn (yes even men can learn) that it isn't getting him what he wants, i know its hard not to get angry and respond accordingly but a better tactic is grab your keys and go for a drive (especially if you drive to the store and spend his money, this will increase his learning curve dramatically) or shut yourself in another room and go about your business until he's calmed down. when two people are behaving outrageously nobody is accomplishing anything, walking away and refusing to deal with him until he can behave like an adult makes you, well..the bigger man!

So men just think that they have all the control over everything and everyone. Too bad you let him get away with it. Let him know that it is unacceptable to just blow up at you and that you have feelings too.

you can't be so hard on them , they are a product of their environment following social norms and in case you haven't noticed the majority religion in america ics some form of christianity and it tends to be of the puritanical nature, more than the accepting one, and social institutions like marriage and expectations of being a lady serve to reinforce hypocritical stereotypes for men,
