leadbelly asked about my main use. I am sorry i did not provide that. Here it is,
1-I do writing...A LOT of writing (about to publish a book! I know, very very exciting!)
2-i do like to do some gaming (some very new games like Prince of Persia)
3-i do some 3D modeling from time to time.
4-chating with friends from overseas.
i think that's about it (it's like i do everything)....thank you all once more..

It all depends on what you want to do, obviously the Dell has a better graphics card than the HP and may be a bit faster than the HP processor wise, but the HP has more features and a larger HD as well.
Bottom line.
Get the XPS if you are planning playing video games because you can swap out the PCI x16 video card where as for the HP, if the video dies, then you'll have to disable the onboard video and get another video card to replace the onboard video. If it's bad enough, you might just have to repalce the mother board on the HP if it's that bad.
Get the HP if you want features and don't plan on doing a lot of gaming. This is an all purpose machine that has an awesome litescribe burner bundled with a multiport card reader, which is nice if you have a camera or something that needs those ports.
Again, it's up to you on what you want to do. I personally game, so I would get the XPS, but then agian, I'd prefer to build my own. Hope this helped.

This sounds like an extremely solid deal, the specs are. Processor variety - AMD QUAD middle Phenom 9550, AM2+, 3.6GHz FSB difficult disk - 4 hundred GB 7200 Rpm difficult force - huge storage photographs Card - Nvidia 2 x 9500GT 2GB SLI photographs Motherboard -SLI Motherboard variety of USB Ports - 6 x USB 2.0 Ports( 2 at front ) Optical force - 20x DVD RW +/- Sound Card - dazzling 7.a million Channel encompass Sound working gadget - N/A (improve basically) Ram reminiscence - 8GB DDR2 Ram. that is loose transport and a three year guarantee, presented that that is all working high quality, i will see no problems in any respect with it, the seller has a solid score additionally, basically one unfavorable remark that grew to become into given slightly upfront because of the fact the subject grew to become into regarded after out, cant remark on the subject concerns with the PSU.

Personally, I would go with the HP. I know someone who had a horrific experience with Dell and ended up returning it only to purchase a HP.

I would say the first one. Personally, I hate Dells and I think you'd have more problems with a Dell. For the money, the first one is a pretty good deal.

First off, both don't provide monitors, so I'd look for one of those separately at http://www.newegg.com/ otherwise I like the HP because it has more video memory, the video memory is shared on the motherboard and Dell's just aren't as good in my humble opinion.
