Are the tigers the best team in the league now, if not who, do u think they can keep this up?

the yankees didnt sweep the tiges, unles 3-1 is a sweep...

The Tigers have a pretty solid team. They're a little bit young, which could hurt them later in the year.
Also, they could use another power hitter or two. They should make things interesting for the White Sox though.

Having the best record doesn't mean you have the best team, yes, they are playing great right now, but as I tell everyone (because everyone keeps telling me this) it's a long season, if they are still playing like this at the end of the season, they'll be playing the New York Yankees in the ALCS...and the Yankees will win it....4 to 2.

Detroit will get the wild card but i dont see them winning the world series. White sox will win the American league central Yankees will win the Al East and then the yankees can laugh at the red sox!

Yes, as a matter of fact they are.
As of June 8th we still have THE BEST RECORD IN BASEBALL, and are STILL in 1st place (since may 16th).
And since when did winning 3 out of 4 mean a sweep?
Typical yankee fan; cant do the math.

Yes they are right now but I do not think they can keep it up. I would guess the race for the best record will be between the Yanks, BoSox and Chisox.

No they aren't. I doubt that they make the playoffs this year. Chicago wins the AL Central, Boston is the AL wild card.

might win the wild card if their pitching holds up. the white sox are to strong to win the division but the way they are playing the tigers could win it as well.
