A mini bio...
Canadian-born Haim broke into the Film industry in 1984 as a young child caught up in a family war in the hit movie Firstborn (1984). The following year he starred in the TV movie _A Time To Live (1985) (TV)_ , for which he received an award, and Silver Bullet (1985). _Lucas_(1986) , in which he starred alongside Charlie Sheen showed his ability, but was not a big hit.

In 1987 he had a breakthrough when he played one of the major roles in 'Joel Schumachers' ’s _Lost Boys (1987)_ , but his output during the nineties was disappointing. He hopes to turn his career around with two newly finished movies _Without Malice (2000)_ and _Universal Groove (2001)_ and there is a chance of a role in the much-rumoured ‘Lost Boys’ sequel.

Haim appeared to have finally gotten rid of his drug habit by 2004, after resettling in Toronto. The Irish band, The Thrills, released a single, "Whatever happened to Corey Haim?", in September 2004. In response to an investigation by The Sun newspaper during the single's release into what exactly had happened to Haim, he responded: "I'm clean, sober, humble and happy". [5] Haim is optimistic of returning to the film industry.[6] In 2006 he was ranked #8 on VH1's Greatest Teen Stars.

He had MAJOR battles with drugs. He started way young. I remember watching the E! True Hollywood Story and in some of the footage they showed, Corey Haim was completely stoned, talking about his refrigerator in a very slurred, incoherent way. He's tried staying clean and sober...Who knows if he still is. I hope he is doing well, I really like him!!!

I used to love him SO much, too!
I don't think he's acting anymore. I saw him recently on VH-1, and he really doesn't look good anymore. :( He looks kinda fat and really bloated in the face. Not at all like the Corey we once loved.

I actually saw him on T.V. last night. A nick at nite program. He looked like crap! He has gained a lot of weight. My sister said that he had gotten really heavy into drugs!
