They should be at least 1920 by 1200 larger is also ok.

Finding an image that large to use is going to be difficult. But it's possible, here's one of the space station, http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/image/0605/iss2_sts114_big.jpg note you'll have to use an image editor to cut the file information off the bottom of it and use image resizer to cut it down to the size you want, http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
In all honesty that's the only image I know of meeting your requirment, most wallpaper sites top out at 1600 x 1200 and why not most LCD monitors are between 17" and 20" in size.

just type in the seach box(either with web or images) tab..doesnt matter if u using google.com or yahoo.com(im preferred google.com)..then type wallpaper as a key word
p/s:mostly if u download a wallpaper is contained many spyware and virus..so be careful
