Yes, we tried for 6 years. I did the whole basal body temp thing, tried clomid..only after I went to my DR. and found out I was insulin resistant did things change. She put me on Metformin and almost right away I was having regular cycles. I started exercising and I lost about 40lbs. 10 months later I was pregnant. The pregnancy was smooth and I had a little girl. After she was 1 year old I started with the Metformin again and within 5 months I was pregnant with my second baby!! Now he's 6 months old and I'm back on the Metformin and losing all my baby fat. Ask your doctor if Metformin can help you too. Also, I have a friend who got pregnant using clomid. She has PCOS but is not insulin resistant. Good Luck!!!!

Yes, I have gotten pregnant with PCOS. You will want to start by visiting an OB-GYN and talking to him/her about how to best increase your odds of conceiving. Learn how to chart your basal body temperature (www.tcoyf.com) and use an ovulation predictor kit. Make sure to ask your OB about how a drug called Metformin can help regulate the cycles of a PCOS patient - it was my miracle drug!

Also check out the online community www.soulcysters.com - it's a great resource for those who have PCOS, with great message boards.

Best of luck to you.

Yes I did. I have PCOS and endometriosis. I was told it was virtually impossible for me to get pregnant.
Boy were they wrong!! I didn't use anything to help me get pregnant but didn't use anything to stop it either.

Yes. I did. Metformin is, indeed, a great help.

I went through many drugs to induce ovulation before finding success with Follistim. We also tried four IUI's without success before finally succeeding with IVF. I don't mention this to discourage you, but only to let you know there are many available drugs and methods. Chances are, there's one that will work for you.

Blessings.
