There is a question around here where someone asked which would be the best 11? There some people have given the names of what they (really) think would be the best ideal team. Pay no attention to the first guy that answered. He has NO idea at all....
Stay away from Trinidad&Tobago, Costa Rica, Togo or Gahna... if you can look at the web page of fifa www.fifaworldcup.com and there are the profiles of ALL the players. Go with the ones that play in Europe: England, Germany, Spain, Italy and Holand are the very best leages. In Latinamerica look at Brasil and Argentina, from Paraguay Cardoso, From Mexico look at Marques and Borgetti (they play in Spain and England respectively).

Well you need some Brazilians and if you dont you will lose. and the guy that gave the first lineup is wrong because you cant use 4 French in the lineup, therefore. First of, i am not going to give you everything you have to do some research.
GK(s) - Buffon, and then Cech for Lehmann for back ups.
Defenders - Roberto Carlos (Bra), Rio Ferdinand (Gha), Nesta (Italy)
Midfielders - Adriano (Bra), Gerrard (Eng)
Forwards - Thierry Henry (Fra)

Right you want a mixture of good team and bad team players. I would advise a german defender and then other average country defenders like equador, mexico and japan. Then get Frank Lampard from England, maybe a frenchman and two others from lower teams like african and asian ones. For strikers go for spanish, italian or portugese players. To kind of pot luck anyway, just make sure you use all of your alloted spending money.

You know, T-rex, the only fossil here is the first one who gave you detailed "advice" -- he did not include Brazilian players (the best in the world!) in his suggestions.
Guess he is trying to get you to lose your money.
BTW, it's not soccer -- it's FOOTBALL.
