Say you went somewhere that you thought it was exciting and you made a story about it, but when you were writing it,you thought it wasn't that exciting after all.So you decide to make it more exciting by adding things that never happened. Then you showed it to a publisher and it became famous everywhere, but when people asked you about the stuff you added that never did happen and you lied.So that made you think about what you said and made you miserable for the rest of your life. That would make you think"If I didn't lie to them, then I would be a true famous writer!" Makeing a true story about yourself has to be a true one, nothing but the solid truth and maybe it would be a famous book someday!

I look at your question from the perspective of the author James Frey who wrote a "A Million Little Pieces"

James Frey wrote a book about his life and the book was an Oprah book club pick. She choose the book as a work of non-fiction. the book was an autobiography of the writers life in recovery. James Frey was found to have made many false or untrue statements about himself in his book that was published. The public did not stand behind him, his publishes did not stand behind him, Oprah did not stand behind him and he lost all of his credibility as an author.

So for your question is it worth to fabricate your story...
Ask James Frey....he will never have credibility again...he will never be able to publish again....

so my answer is no....it is not worth it to lie....

i am giving you a link to the James Frey story

It's difficult to write a true story that contains nothing but the truth -- and there are a number of reasons. You've outlined one big reason -- but there is another category, called fiction, and you can write whatever you want in fiction. In fact, many writers begin with a true incident and 'embroider' it to make a good story, then sell it as fiction.
We often find it difficult to be completely honest about ourselves -- not just in the case of a trip that was less exciting than it might have been, but in our gut responses to things. But don't forget that you can still be a famous writer by presenting your stuff honestly. If it's fiction, say so.

Do what you want. in case you prefer to renounce writing your fanfiction, pass forward. Your unique memories are extra significant besides. yet, on the comparable time, you do no longer unavoidably ought to offer up merely yet. you could take a injury and artwork on your unique memories for now, and once you want a injury with your unique memories, in step with possibility you will want some suggestion and motivation on your fanfic. that's what i'm doing. do merely no longer formally cancel your tale, so as that way you nonetheless have a call the two way--in step with possibility next financial ruin (in case you have have been given one waiting) say on your author's be conscious which you would be taking a injury. That way your ethical experience is cleared and you will possibly be loose to jot down your unique memories.
