I was watching a movie recently and they kept saying redrum and they smeared the words REDRUM in blood on the walls.

REDRUM backwards=MURDER.
I take it you didn't watch the entire film. Good for you, even Stephen King hated that movie.
I suggest you go to your local library and check out The Shining. Many people think it is his best book (my personal favorite is The Stand, though...)
You can also get Red Rum at a liquor store, but it is awfully sweet......

it's from the shining, and if you were watching the movie they would have showed in the mirror that it is the word murder spelled backwards.

let me in on something in one episode where stewie is playing with his blocks, you can see his blocks are stacked um in triangular form / \ R at top Ed at middile Rum on bottom

its rum, an alcoholic beverage ,thats made from mosqito blood.
you see it form on the walls of some houses when its hot and people start squashing mosquitoes(the origin of squash games)
