depo provera DOES NOT make you infertile but it can take between 6 and 12 months to begin to ovulate again it took me 14 months to get pregnant after i got off of depo provera just be patient and if it really worries you then you should talk to your doctor about it they may be able to give you a small dose of testosterone to get the birth control out of your system

One of the risks or myths (I'm not sure) is that Depo Provera can make you infertile. I was on it for over a year, close to two, and I got pregnant just a few months after I got off it. Keep trying, and if you don't concieve, talk to your ob/gyn doctor. He may suggest a fertility doctor. But whatever you do, don't do Invetro, unless you want to have about 8 kids all at once.
Good luck.
I never got pregnant when I tried, only when I least wanted to be pregnant.

I had been n the Depo shot, and it actually stopped my body from ovlating. I had to go on clomid to fix the problem. I now have a healthy baby boy

First of all, did you start getting a normal period already? If so, go online to "ovulation calculator" and there you will be able to get an idea of which week you are most fertile and know that on that week it is best for you to attempt to conceive, this really worked for me on my first try ......
