I think it depends on the reasoning behind dating the younger/older individual. Meaning, if you are an older man and you want a younger woman simply because of the way she looks and what you EXPECT you can get out of her, then yes, I have a huge problem with that. However, if you happen to meet someone that you have alot in common with, can easily talk to, and find attractive, then I say go for it! (By the way, this applies to both men and women.)
One more thing...there is one exception to my rule. In cases where you have, let's say, an 18-year-old dating someone who is at least 20 + years his/her senior--that's a no-go! What in the heck could you possibly have in common with someone who has only been legal for a year or less? Nothing! So to all of you that prey on true "young folk," stay away!

Yes. Age matters. I think younger man should only date the older woman if the age gap is just between 10 years lower.

Age should be within a few years of the other, but not decades. As far as the woman being older, it is not an issue as long as the man doesn't treat her like she is his other mother. It comes down to compatibility and maturity.

IT DEPENDS ON THE WOMEN. WOMEN BY NATURE MAT UR FASTER THAN A MAN DOES SO REALLY NATURE DID NOT SET IT UP THAT WAY.IT HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE THAT OLDER WOMEN HAVE THAT YOU CANT TELL ME WHAT TO DO I GUEST THE QUESTIONS SHOULD BE CAN A WOMEN LISTEN TO A YONGER MAN WITH OUT DESTRORING HIS EGO .I MANS ROLE IN A RELATIONSHIP WILL CHANGE ,MEANING IF SHE ALSO MAKES MORE MONEY THEN CAN SHE STILL MAKE HIM FILL LIKE THE KING OF THE CASTLE.A MAN S ROLE IS TO LEAD AND CONTROL CAN YOU CONTROL A OLDER WOMEN? No age does not matter!!! (Why how old are you) LOL...Age is just a measure of time, life experience can make a person more season and ready for more adult challenges but trust me there are alot of "grown ups" that cannot handle being one in the truer sense.

Depends on society standards. For example, if you lived in a small Christian town, and the male was, let's say 18, and the female was, let's say 30, that would probably pose a problem. However, if you live in a foreign country, this is okay.

I think dating someone older than you is sexy. It helps the other person feel younger too. But I think there's a limit. When the person you're dating is old enough to be your parent, it may be allright, but when they're old enough to be your grandparent, that's just weird.

nope, I was married to a gal for 25 years who was 17 years younger than me, three wonderful kids and lots of memories
