a) paki is a racist word
b) they are no worse than the US and "the West" who supported "terrorists" when they fought communists except that they have to live with the long term consequences.. for ex the US funding the fighting in Afghanistan then leaving Pakistan with refugee problem it couldn't cope. Pakistan is using their armed forces to its full capability and has a good reason to fight them. It is not just another whim like that of the west that needs a new bogey man every 10 years to keep military contractors in business.

So Pakistan plays both sides, big deal! We played off Iran against Iraq and vice-versa and it's all about survival and politics.
And try not to use the word "Paki" because it's racist.

What do you think the U.S. did during the Iran-Iraq War? We "[played] two sides" as well.
