Natural selection.
The FBI cracked down on the Klan (there's only the one, dude), back in the 60s and 70s and all the smart ones either went deep underground (like those 17-year locust thingies) or went to prison. The ones you see today are the poor crackers too stupid to duck and too harmless for the FBI to bother with.
BTW, "white" is not a race, except to the KKK. "Black" is only a race in the sense of American politics, as many African-Americans discover when they visit their ancestral continent and discover that because their own ancestors may have come from hundreds of miles away from the nation they are visiting, they are considered aliens, not "prodicals". Black is only a monolithic ethnic group in these here NewKnighted States.
Since we are discussing skin tone, I myself am sort of an off-beige pinkish hue with brownish highlights in the summertime, tending more towards taupe in the winter. My heritage is mostly Euro, with a touch of Amerind tossed in. Does that help you characterize my thinking, politics or athletic ability?
Cheers.

Count yourself as lucky to be exposed to people with an open mind who have taught you to be accepting of others despite your differences. The KKK primarily exists out of ignorance, but people often forget it is kind of an institution in the sense that its members are likely inniated through generational ties. If your father told you over and over that non-white people where sub-human and you were not exposed to any other important influences, it would be highly unlikely to make an independent decision against your father's beliefs. Stay in school, go to college, move to the South and become a teacher and influence the next generations with your sense of tollerance among all people.

I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion, even if it's outdated and ignorant. These people are rebelling about something extremely outdated and stupid, and they have no clue that they're living with idiotic standards. Well, what are we to do?

I would say that they're entitled to their opinion, but I don't agree with it. I also don't agree with hangings, or any other type of abuse or violence. Deep down, I think it's the desperation of feeling inferior to others, which would be more on the nail.

Mainly it's fear of anything different than their narrow views of the world. They seem quite contented in their ignorance. They seem to forget the only "native Americans" are the Native Americans, that all others, white, black, or yellow, all came to this country the same way.

Inbreeding often produces mentally inferior people.

However, sporting success of non-white people does not give them any intellectual advantage over Caucasians. When it comes to superiority, sport is not a great indicator.

people are afraid of things they dont understand. and what better way to keep other people from excelling then by making them feel small. the kkk are just a group of ignorant people who really dont understand what they are preaching.
what they don't understand is that our creatures are of color (not sure if african or such). and there is proof that we all carry the adam gene. decendent of adam and eve. so in other words we are all color just in different shades. embrace your paleness and be proud.

Well, people are people. All you can do is laugh at them because there is little we can do to change the minds of the ignorant, who are the most unwilling to change anyway.
