Why do the award shows keep forgetting Trace Adkins?

He has great songs - his latest Honkytonk Badonkadonk was the number one video for MONTHS, yet he never gets any nominations? When Toby Keith had a fit about that, he started getting nominated and winning. Does Trace need to throw a fit, or what?

He's not a butt-kisser, so don't expect him to get nominated anytime soon.

It's up to his record label to push him to the academy. Unless they step it up a bit, he'll continue to be overlooked by the academy. Atleast he's getting exposure by performing on the award shows, though! That's a big deal.
