British people often call Americans 'yanks' - we do know that it's not a term that includes ALL Americans, but we use it anyway ... how are WE supposed to know whether you're a yank or not??!!
'Over paid, over sexed, and over here!' is a good old chestnut too, but it's only used to describe the American soldiers who were in Britain during WWII. I've never heard it applied to today's Americans!
Personally, I usually call them "Americans" - except when one of their goddam noisy planes flies over my roof so I can't hear myself THINK!!! Then I call the pilots "Stupid Americans" or "bloody Americans"!! (I live in Japan now by the way. That's why they fly their stupid planes over my head!)

Wow, who would have thought that the folks in England have such a low opinion of us here in the States? Funny because I live in Florida and seems to be the English are ALLLLLL over the place out here. My thought would be if we are, wait what were some of the names, fat, stupid, lazy, oversexed and overpaid, yea, seems like you folks might want to AVOID coming here then? Just a thought....
