We were initially founded as a republic, not even a democracy. But we are becoming more socialist and even communist every day.

Republicans believe that people should have very long terms in office, and that people should have more power. Yet at the same time they want smaller government. Basically, Bush wants more power. He wants as much as possible.
As for Democrats and Socialist tacticts... I'm a Democrat, and I support them, bcause they're not what you think. One example of a socialist tactic would be Universal Health Care, which is great for all.. Yes, we would all have to pay, but in the long run it would be cheaper and better for all.
Socialist tacticts aren't all that bad.. You just have to read some of the issues, and what socialist tacticts are about. As for a dictatorship.. That's bad. We don't need one very powerful person to be in the presidentcy. An example of Dictatorship is the Bush family.. First Bush Seinior, now Bush junior.. Pretty soon it'll be Jeb, and Laura! lol.

Well you see Jimmy Carter and Hollywood elites coddling with communist dictator Castro and it makes you wonder what side they are on. Also activist Harry Belafonte coddling with dictator Guerrero in Venezuela. It's as if they love that way of life and are haters of capitalism. Deep inside though they would not admit it, they are socialists just like a lot of college professors, democrats and liberal loonies. Republicans are not dictators. That is ridiculous.

actually the idea was born after the second world war..when we immigrated a bunch of intellectuals from socialist countries that we helped liberate in ww2...then the cold war and communism had its followers who mostly were "intellectual idealists" and they started teaching in our colleges and universities and helping others of the same political persuasion take positions of power in these institutions..very fertile ground for undermining the american way...teach our impressionable youth the ideals of a utopian society where everything is taken care of by the gov't... idealistic in theory but proven very unworkable in reality...people will always strive for more than they can be given by the leaders..and a socialistic society will always be mediocre at best in exchange for safety....

The birth of American socialism started in the union movements of the late 19th century. They grew and blossomed in immigrant communities, which were the workers, and entrenched in cities, where industry workers worked. That is why it never took hardcore, because other nations like russia, china, and other nations it started with the farmers.
