i think as young as 13 you don't know wat you want really I'm sure they think they are gay but somepeolpe decide that earlier in life than others. So I guess it just depends on the person and if they are young and know that they want to be gay thats their oppinion and not ours to judge.

Starting? As in admitting to themselves, or as in 'becoming' homosexual? (btw, lesbians ARE homosexual. Homo- = same, so same-sexual). No-one 'becomes' homo- or bi-sexual. We're either born that way, or with a propencity for it which can be triggered situationally (Hence the whole 'Nature-versus-Nurture' argument).
I personally have had feelings for both genders since I was in Pre-K, but didn't 'come out' -to myself, to my family,or to my friends- until I was 1/2 way through my Junior year of High School. So, if your Q was about 'coming outs' that occur in that time period, they're most likely valid. If your Q was as to *activities* starting then, it's up to the individual; his/her physical, emotional, and mental maturity; and local and state laws. (Personal oppinions vary on this)

Exploring your sexuality that young physically for either heterosexuals or homoesexuals is not a good thing (younger than 16ish I'd say). A person that young hasn;t reached the level of maturity necessary to engage in sex with either gender.

However I think it is perfectly normal for a person that age, who has those feelings about another person of the same sex to think about it, or want to pursue it, just like other adolescents who have crushed on someone of the opposite gender.

Acceptance and awareness is fine. I'm still of the old fashioned opinion that kids that kids need to hold off on sexual activity until they are much, much older and can emotionally handle it. Gay or straight!!!! I'd flip if my daughter told me she was sexually active at a young age regardless of what gender! Just be a kid while you can and tackle the adult issues when you're an adult.

being lesbian/homosexual during an early age is a way of youngsters to explore...

they usually are curious about those things..

maybe because of their environment or their peers...

usually, here in my country, young homosexuals turn out to be straight right about during or after college..

so, whatever your sexual preference is, be happy...

decide whats good for you and where you will be happy..

dont be afraid to be what you want to be on an early stage...

and here's a tip of advice...

NEVER regret the past because thats your choice...

thank that it happend and move on!

I always had the curiosity when I was very young. I still am curious but I never took action. Im 18 now. I guess it is normal to be curious while young.

*shrug* about the same as I feel about heterosexuals starting that early or earlier. It's normal.

I don't know what else to say. Why is this even a question?

Believe me, homosexuality starts a lot earlier than that, but for the most part I dont think you can completely know for certain yet. But what can one do but accept it?

Well that is the age of sexual development, so that is when gay and lesbian and bisexual kids are going to come into their sexual orientation, just like straight kids do at that age.

I believe everyone should save themselves for that special someone. I believe 13 is tooooo young to start anything. Make sure it is not a fad and is really who you are. But be who you are and love yourself.
