Of course not. No one listens to the people. The Republicans, as you can see, have obviously not. The war in Iraq, Gay Marriage, and so forth.. No one wants to ban gay marriage. No one wants the war in Iraq. Yet they support both.

The Republicans don't represent all Americans.. Now yes, some Democrats are bad about it, but at least the Democrats have a strategy to represent EVERYONE AND NOT JUST ONE POLITICAL PARTY!

Republicans members of congress will do anything to get a few extra bucks.

No. It tells the people what it does and that's all. Our vote is supposed to count for something right? Well why does the government do what it wants and we just follow , much like sheep to the slaughter, at least we don't die for voicing our opinions like in some countries in earlier years. It's just upsetting that we do vote and the outcome is what our government wants it to be not what we voted for.

No it doesn't. It speaks for the 10% of America that actually participates in the government. (Voting every four years is NOT partaking in setting policy)

Our current government is so out of touch with the public, it is sickening. They certainly do not speak for me.

Sometimes, but when you get as rigid and unchanging in your belief's as Bush, How do you honestly represent the people? Aren't you then representing an ideology?

NO...We elect people to represent us. They lie and steal to get the money to run for congress. After they are elected they represent the contributors to their campaigns. The rest of us have to call and raise HELL to get anything done.
