If you knew the world was going to end in 24 hours,how would you spend the time?

I would spend my last 24 hours on Yahoo Answers trying to answer as many people's queries as possible.

I would spend most of my time on my knees in prayer. The rest would be spent talking with friends and family making sure we were all ready to go. I know that one should be in that state always because there will not be a warning when the time comes.

I would go and do all the things I've never done. I would go skydiving and bungee jumping. I would probably go make a protest of the things I don't believe in. Share with the world all of thoughts. Lastly spend time with my family, my friends and all the people I love.

I'd ring all my family and friends who I wouldn't see before it ended, maybe try and hook up a video cam so I could see them as well, and I'd throw a damn huge party with all my friends and family who I could get together. It'd be an open party as well, so neighbours etc are welcome, playing loads of the best music that ever got written (admittedly, this could be a bit subjective but never mind), dancing until the bitter end draws in. And I'd finally tell that cute single guy that I've had my eye on for ages that I fancied him, maybe the world would end with me in his arms...ahhhhh!

I would clean my barbecue. I've procrastinated all year and should have done it a long time ago. The grease is all over the place. Then I would get some nice steaks and baked potatoes, roasted garlic, onions and peppers. Enjoy my favorite last meal before it ends. Makes me hungry right now.

I noticed a few people trying to get straight with God. I am always ready for that, thanks to Jesus. He will be at my barbecue anyway.

Assuming everyone else knew as well, I'd go outside and be a witness to the chaos. But if I was the only person to know, I'd tell my friends so that in the last moments, they would view me as some sort of prophet.

I have two answers, actually - I'd either get all of my loved ones together, having them, in return, bring all their friends and loved ones, and have the biggest going out bash imaginable.

The other idea is to be totally alone, in a boat, reflecting on life and the beauty of the world and enjoying a final bit of takeout from my favorite restaurant.

I would eat as much cake, candy, donuts, pastries, etc as I could stand. I would tell my family I love them. Then I would sit on my butt and watch TV while continuing to eat junk food. (I've been on a diet for way too long. The least I could do is indulge myslef one last time, since I wouldn't be around the next day to worry about the weight gain.) ;-)
