Is it because the heat hurts sperm and eggs, or what?

I've heard of bubble baths causing bladder infections or UTI's, but nothing about hot water. Baths in general shouldn't be taken very often.

Its because your lungs aren't strong enough to support all that heat. You could pass out. People who are older aren't even suppose to spend more than 30 minutes in them.

If your so worried about it just take a short break from it and get back in later.

It also has something to do with your heart.

I have never heard that rule before, all i know is that no one should be in a hot tub for a really long time

The heat makes one weak and they could become to weak and drown. It also increases the heart rate and that is why you cannot go in one after a heart attack.

no a clue but i never listen to rools actually i suppose its because their body is not developed yet so they might get over heated!!! LOL!!!

their body surface area/volume ratios are very bad.

They have much more surface area per unit volume compared to adults.

Their evaporative surface (especially head/face) is much larger, and they dehydrate very quickly.
