You point of view is interesting, but may depend upon the belief that quantity is always better than quality.

If one believes the concept of hybrid vigor, no location on Earth is as diversified as the United States of America. This is indeed the mixing pot of the world.

You can believe whatever you want, but the US still is the most innovative country. If push comes to shove and the US stops all educational and human relief work in the rest of the world, the picture will become messier.

The culture of individuals might allow other countries to become superpowers, but the individual citizens will never "take orders" from anyone. If you believe differently, you are in error.
