Here's the correct answer. Melina is not a porn star and never has been. She was a fashion & lingerie model at one time, but joined the ranks of pro wrestling through the "minor leagues" of WWE, and has now hit the big time on the main WWE stage. It's a shame you don't see her wrestle more; she has good skills and is also a good talker. Perhaps they'll give her some better storylines in the near future to work with.

No, she is a former model as well as professional wrestler. Before she signed on with WWE, she worked for a minor wrestling federation under the stage name, Kyra. From the pictures that I have viewed, her role as Kyra totally differed from the diva role she plays so well in the WWE. Unlike the Melina we see on Raw, Kyra was a Laura Croft-like character. (I really wish she would bring some of her old character out--Kyra was definitely a force to be reckoned with. Melina Perez is definitely a talented female wrestler!)

I don't know if she was a porn star or not but she sure has the equipment of one. Saw her at a live show in Tulsa this year, my god are they huge.
