I had natural child birth with my first child, although it was not by choice because the epidural did not work. And then when I became pregnant with my second I had planned on doing it naturally but I ended up having back labor (which is the worst) so I had an epidural and it was wonderful.
So I personally would not do a natural child birth again but all of those women out there who do are the strongest people in this world and should be bowed down to.

When I gave birth to my first child I was 16 and terrified, I went with the pain med. I hated it, I was so sick and woozy and kept passing out. My second child was a natural birth and I loved it. It flew by and was alot easier.
My third child was a week late and I tried to go natural but after 30 hours of labor I begged for an epidural. I will never do that again. It hurt, I got a spinal headache, pushing took an hour, and I couldn't feel my legs for hours afterwords, it was bad. Now I'm prego. with number 4 and planning on a natural birth.

Yes, I have. 3 times in fact. I thought after the pain of my first born that I would never and I do mean NEVER do it again. BUT....when the time came again and I thought about it, I chose natural. There are call kinds of sayings I could use...no pain no gain, etc. but it all boils down to the fact that I wanted to be awake, cognitive, and start bonding with my child the minute he was born. All of a sudden I wanted to experience the wonder and miracle of child birth again, and if the pain was a side effect of that, so be it.

It is still natural and you still feel everything but the pain!! with one of my kid I waited too long and could not get an epadulel (not sure of spelling) and I was bad the nurse had to help push the baby out, by pushing down on my belly.... it was bad all the way around!

I haven't had natural child birth with either of my 2 that i have now, but i have been thinking about it for the 3rd. after my second one they waited a long time before taking out the epidurel needle and i ended up with a spinal headache which was horrible. so now i'm afraid to get the epidurel again.

Yes, I did with both my children. I had easy pregnancies and the labor process went along fairly quickly (average). I would do it again I think although it would be nice to be more aware of the actual birth than just trying to get through and cope with the pain. Congratulations on your baby girl...there's nothing that runs every emotional gamet like having a child. God Bless you both!!!

Childbirth is a horrid pain! But it's a pain that is quickly forgotten. If it wasn't, the world population would dwindle down to nothing. I had natural childbirth twice, with no drugs, because I'm diabetic and they were both high-risk births. If I were healthier, I'd have 5 more kids. No question about it.

I had both my kids naturally. It is the best for them, not to mention, the thought of a needle in my back makes me ill. As you know, once the baby is born, the pain was well worth it. I would definitely do it naturally again.

Yes, I would do it again no question! In fact, I'm 37 weeks pregnant right now and all excited to have my second baby. I also have a huge fear of needles, and I fear that needle but not labor.
