simply consider the source and realize that they are so small and insignificant in this universe that they really don't have any power over you unless you let your emotions be run by them. plus they may have psychological issues and will probably end up with legal problems in their lives. avoid them and if they just won't let up take it to the Principle or Police. it's called harassment and that is not legal...

Depends.
1) Did you do something stupid to incur the humiliation? If so, learn from your mistake and don't do something that stupid again ... or at least make sure no one knows you did something stupid.
2) If you did nothing wrong and someone is just heaping verbal insults at you. Take action! A swift backhand against the other person's jaw will send them spinning to the ground. Striking a bully down is the quickest way of showing who is the alpha male. They will think twice before insulting you again, and anyone seeing you topple the guy will send a quick wave of gossip out that you are not to be trifled with.

First remember each detail of the experience, not with your eyes, but with your ears, because the eyes tell the other person they are getting to you. That's what they want. They want to humiliate you and get you angry.
It's not easy, but ignore it completely.
It takes some acting. It's an art to defuse a situation. I'm not too good at it myself, but I've seen it done.
I just shut down and that makes me more angry.
An adult will be aware, but not put themselves into a situation. It's like letting a fire burn itself out. Ultimately, the people putting you down are displaying their ignorance and immaturity.
People can be vicious and cynical. Maybe they are jealous.

the best response is by not giving it a thought...okay now for teh real answer insult their intelligence if they make fun of your clothes say something like "how original did you come up with that your self or did your mommy help you think of that?" or "At least I can be creative you just look like a manniquin...you know a brainless follower."
Take a look at yourself and know that a person who uses humility as a weapon is the one with issues not you. Use your judgement not emotion=peaceful existence

Laugh with them, it takes all of their power to hurt away when they see that you can laugh too. It doe not matter what your name is, cruel people will find a way to make it a cruel joke. When they see you laughing, they will be puzzled. Little will they know that you are now in control and the joke is on them. Smile alot, they will always wonder what you are up to.
