i used to have those period pains before, but now that i have changed my lifestyle i'm doing better.
i exercise regularly and drink a lot of water, i don't know if it will work for you but it worked for me.
don't drink midol!!! this dug has side effects(or worse) .

The best thing that works for me (and everyone is different) is a hot pad on my lower part of my stomach, midol and a good movie.

Lots of Aleve, heating pads or blankets, and maybe eventually get on birth control. It makes them almost go away completely.

Hi. I take Prozac and I take midol. I take a warm shower and I am fine for the rest of the day. ;)

Take Anti Spasmodic drugs
*start those one day before ur date
*Anti Spasmodics include drugs like -MEFTAL-SPAS , or any other analgsic-dicyclomine combination
*for that see a doc soon

Try chamomile it always work for me they sell it at the stores in little packages and some tylenol it really works trust me.
