I know, it really doesn't need to be remade. But if someone were fool enough to try, I'd like to see Viggo Mortenson in Eastwood's role, Benicio del Toro as Angel Eyes (the Lee Van Cleef part), and... I dunno, maybe Jack Black would be entertaining as Tuco (the Eli Wallach part).

Yeah, it's a slow day around my house today...

Viggo sounds good. Maybe one of the Baldwins.They are bad ***.What of the dude in Nip Tuck? He'd be good just because he can play bad well... Jack Black is too physical and slap stick to pull off a Western...

Here's an idea though: Why not have the original cast do it?They're a lot older,but it just may work

hmmmm your right they should never mess with perfection!but if they did how about Hugh Jackman in the Clint Eastwood role,Ian McShane( from the deadwood show) as Angel eyes, and James Caan as Tuco??

Jack Black was my choice for Tuco as well! Your other choices are good, too.

A remake of this movie would be just so wrong. There would be no comparison. It's a classic.
