They are actually going to implant the upper management in November of 2007, and the rest of the employees will start getting implanted in March of 2008.
The date they plan on starting to implant the customers is being kept a surprise... (for obvious reasons!)

I don't know the date, but you can guarantee I won't shop there anymore once they do. If you use a credit card, they will have a record of everything you purchase. I know they say it is going to be used to anticipate your needs as a customer, allowing them to tailor discounts and coupons to your specific buying patterns, but I find it a little too Big Brother for my tastes. (BTW, it's for merchandise, not people...)
